I was behind a guy driving home from work last night, newer Nissan Pathfinder, the asshat had to idea to put small rectangular mirrors into the rear bumper...even in my car where my headlights are aimed perfectly at 3ft and below, I would catch spots where I was blinding myself because of his shit...

he drove 5 under the speed limit on H1 too...and couldn't get around him :bananadead:

Been under my hood for a few hours over the last week searching for a rattle that only preeents itself around 5mph when I’m slowing down. Seems to be coming from the driver side because I can feel the rattle in that fender but a passenger can’t feel it in theirs.

    • Not the IFS skid
    • Not the battery tray
    • Not loose sliders
    • Checked frame / cross member bolts. Not them.
    • Can’t find any loose bolts on the front bumper, but I have a feeling that’s the culprit anyways
The truck is dirty. With the amount of rattling, I figured I’d look under here and see a clean spot. Nothing.

Anyone have a similar gremlin and find it?

Try shaking the truck or bouncing it and see if the noise happens..

My arch nemesis was actually the spare needing to be tightened..

Hood doesn’t move with me bouncing. I’ve bounced on bumper too, can’t replicate.

OEM size spare is off the truck. 285 is in the bed and not moving.

After looking at my front tires, it may be them getting low / off balance. I have an appointment to get aligned and rotated at island brake tomorrow. Find out if that’s it tomorrow when they look. It’s my fault if so.. I neglected them :)

out of balance might be noticeable at low speeds, but if it was, you'd noticed it at higher speeds too.

    maybe look at your brakes

Pulled the driver side tire and looked at them too. They look good, and the vibes don’t change whether I’m braking or not either.

Tire is wore a little uneven from being out of alignment, so I’m leaning with that. Don’t notice it at 60mph, but Duratracs make enough noise as is to where I may not be noticing it.
