I have no issues getting answers when I hit up Chuck. He replies almost right away. If you really want answers hit him up. I agree it’s not his fault that Rays is taking long. IMO Chuck is doing his best to help us out get wheels that were never made before. Rays has a shit load of different wheels they need or have to make that’s already passed testing. I’m just thankful they took on our sizing.

 

the point I am trying to make is, everything told to us so far sounds plausible. you can bet your bottom dollar the moment something sounds fishy I will light your torch and sharpen your pitchfork for you.

sent Chuck a message, he said he had called Rays and was waiting on a reply from Japan (time zone differences make this difficult) he said update as soon as he gets word/news.

 

Man every time I get a notification on this post gets me then... It's all good. I'm sure it's worth the wait

 

Thanks giving or Christmas

 

I think Thanksgiving (End of November)is wishful thinking at this point. No one know anything it seems, even the vendor needs to call Ray’s/Volk when requested so by customers for updates.
We’re a little bit over 2 months away from thanksgiving and no pics of these unicorn wheels have been posted. Factor that into production and shipping time and I think we have a good idea on timeline for these to get into our hands.

 

Guys! Sorry for the late response. Im trying to get a solid answer from Japan for everyone. So for now here is the latest.

1) Offering refunds to all who preordered of $500.00 but will continue to lock your price and position (with no deposit). I dont want money to be an issue with this project. I know a lot of you have declined the refund on the deposit but if you change your mind just DM me here or call me at (818) 507-7500.

**LATEST UPDATE**

Spoken to higher ups on both the US and Japan side Rays.

They did start on tooling the new mold. However they have not given me a date of completion yet. Reason being is that each mold they make is VERY EXPENSIVE. They are taking every precaution necessary to do this once and do it right with all the changes being made to it. I ask them every week for an update but still have not gotten a for sure "mold is done" or "production has started" that we all have been waiting for. Both sides of Rays has assured me this is priority 1 on their behalf, but also notified me they will not rush the project in order to fully avoid any mistakes at all.

Again my apologies for all the delays. We were not expecting any but seemed to get all. Were just as excited, frustrated, happy yet irate about the wait time of this project. Let us know what else we can do for your guys to ease the wait time. I will be on here the minute any solid update is given.
