Would this support a RTT?

I saw this setup that @CBI Offroad Fab recently posted and I'm trying to figure out it if would support a RTT. (have a CVT tent that weighs about 185lbs) I have the CBI overland bars pictured mounted how they usually mount within the bed on the OEM bed rails.

The bed bar supports would have to be modified and cut where they come down and mount, essentially cutting them flat like they are in this picture. Would this hurt the dynamic (side to side) weight capacity enough like they are in the picture and make it unstable for a RTT?

For reference this is an aluminum Diamondback tonneau that can support 400lbs on top so I am mostly concerned about the side to side weight transfer where the bars mount to the bed cover.

    Mostly stuff I built.
It will work until the aluminum in the effected area on the diamond back cover work hardens and cracks out.

Eventually I'll be looking for something similar to carry a canoe - two horizontal crossbars the same height as the roof-rack, but independent of one another so that the both Diamondback hatches can still open when the canoe isn't up there.
My only concern is maybe needing one or two light support bars that run from front to rear between the vertical posts to counter weight up top wanting to push/collapse the crossbars down and towards each other - does anyone make a rack with those support beams removable, so a cover could be opened at both ends like in the left side of that picture above?

I think the bars would be fine with the weight and wouldn't collapse. I would think that they would shear off of the bed cover with side to side motion?

There's a guy on youtube that mounted a rtt to that tonneau cover. Can't think of his username, seems to be working for him though...

Should work IMO, I have seen a few mounted on this cover.

His RTT fell off recently. I think the mount wasn't strong enough.

I saw that.I believe he also had added spacers to raise the rack higher above the cover, and bolted his directly to the cover itself by drilling into the cover. Essentially compromising the whole setup’s integrity.
