Remember when

Remember going as a family to Pizza hut, sitting down and drinking coke out of a red plastic glass? Then sometimes your Dad would get pitcher of draft beer and let you steal a sip?

 

It was like wearing some stiff ass canvas for pants, I use to hate the start of the school year because of that, took a few months to get them broke in.

 

Yeah, that shit sucked.

 

I don't go out to eat pizza. It comes to me.

This reminds me of going to Shakey's Pizza as a kid.

 

Pizza Hut's, around here anyway, are nothing like they used to be. You cannot get draft beer, it's not a welcoming family atmosphere and you don't sit down and eat. They are little bitty strip mall joints with 3 booths and a table or two.

 

I think all the old Pizza Hut restaurants are now Chinese buffet's.

 

They are on rotation with pop up Mexican joints.

 

When all kids wanted to do was play outside.

 

They still sell Diet Rite. Tastes about the same as Tab. That fake diet after taste. For some strange reason, I kinda like it.
