To those with a 3" Lift and LT265/75R16 (or similar) tires:

How much of a hitch drop bracket do you need to tow a trailer level?

Is 7 3/4 inches enough? I'm picking up a 5x8 trailer this Thursday, and my 3" stinkbug lift doesn't help.

Depends on how tall the trailer is.

This probably doesn't help much, but here it is hitched to a RAM 1500.

I have a 6” drop hitch in mine and the trailer tongue is still up in the air quite a bit most the time.

But those enclosed are heavier than what I use most the one, might level you out some.

It's 890 pounds dry, not sure what the tongue weight is.

You could ask him how high for the ground the tongue is, and then measure the difference between your hitch and the trailer, accounting for the 7” or whatever drop.
If you wanted to be difficult.

Made some mounts for my 40” led bar on the roof. Used nutserts on the a-pillar. Took a bit of time to bend and shape them but they came out okay I’d say. All for the price of free .99

Also got some 17” second gen wheels and some worn out 285/70r17 tires.

Now I just need to find some time to wire my arb compressor.

Is yours actually fully hooked up now?

When we were up at Red Feathers I thought you said it wasn’t fully seated or sealed or something.

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build

    It's always been hooked up.

What I most likely said was I haven't gone through and sealed and checked everything to confirm its completely water tight.

Ah. Makes sense why you were checking the intake after that creek crossing. IIRC there was only a tiny bit of water in front of the air filter.
