I've been really wanting more since I've been going back and forth from home to college for multiple reasons on the weekends (mainly work) and I have also been giving people rides back so most of the stuff (bags, laundry, etc) goes in the bed held with bungee cords. But when it rains, we are pretty much forced to wrapping everything in trash bags and hoping for the best.

When people sit in the back of my truck, they complain the whole time. Especially since I have a 12" subwoofer that takes up some space, too.

Whoever would buy a failing toy chain with a failing business model in an increasingly e-commerce world is beyond me.

Toys-R-Us is booming internationally, however. Only the North American chains are suffering.

I love that type of heatshrink for certain things. No one around me sells it though. I'd buy more of it to keep on hand but that stuff is expensive!

Maybe it was all just a big PR stunt for Toys R Us as they shift into online stores only in North America...close down all the brick and mortars to make people upset and realize what they miss and took for granted, then bring it back...like Hostess did with Twinkies...playing tidily winks with our nostalgic hearts

I like to drive but I don't have any wishes to be a bus service. Two seats is enough 99% of the time, and I wouldn't trade that for a truck with a midget bed. Might as well have a car for as much use as that bed is. The cruiser is nice if I have passengers, but I really don't. When you're done with school the big groups don't show up as often to fuck around, they end up with jobs and wives.

I take my roommate home every Friday. Here’s what it looks like with the cab stuffed as far as it can go.

He’s sitting on half of the seat.

You're right, I don't foresee this being my daily forever. Once I get a good job, and settle down I want a nice Lexus IS to commute with.

That's exactly how it is for my gf when I take my other friend back too. Luckily, we manage to fit most of the stuff in the bed.

I don't care much if Sears closes down. Stanley B&D owns Craftsman now & you can already find some of their line at Lowes if you really want Craftsman, supposed to more items getting released this month.

But OSH, I loved that place! I can't believe Lowes is shutting them down, I'm really sad about that one.

When my rather tall friend sits behind me, I can feel his legs digging into my back through the seat.

The double cab seats aren't much better TBH, tall people like me cannot even sit comfortable back there without being sideways like the Ext cab

I sat in the backseat of a 2nd Gen DCSB once, you're right there's not much room. Hell of a lot better than the ext. cabs though.

DCLB is the best of both worlds.

Yeah if you don't wheel the DCLB makes a nice daily, my neighbor built one up. It's a comfortable rig

I'm going to have to scour eBay or some antique/thrift stores to find an old car seat from the 90s that will fit in my extra cab when a kid eventually comes along...my 04 has the child safety seat lock in it but these days the seats are way too big.

I know right. In the late 90's esrly 2000s is the last I remember all them registers be open. I don't think we don't have 90 of them but there are a lot! Now they only keep like 4 open. Lol. And they eliminated the person who would call out what register to go to, now it's automated.
