Wow that's a novel there...

 

I didnt realize that kid was still writing, though I guess he's not a kid anymore. After his first book got made into a movie I didnt hear anything else about him.

yes i know there's a movie, but it sucks sooo bad, you're not supposed to talk about it.


This is the first he's done since he finished book 4 of the original series. Supposedly he's writing a sci-fi book also.

 

It really did suck even though one of my all time favorite actresses voiced the flying thingie.

I hope it works out for him. I haven't read a full novel since my kids were born, but used to love me some good scifi and fantasy reading. Really have fallen out of it since the last series I was reading the author died before it was done.

 

Check out The Expanse by James S.A. Corey.. the first book is called Leviathan Awakes. There's a TV series based off of it that started on sci-fi, and it moving to Amazon for the 4th season.

 

I bet he is having a blast.

 

I've watched the TV show. Made me so mad they were cancelling it, then when Bezos said he was a fan and would bring it to Amazon, it made that Prime bill a little easier to swallow. I didn't realize it was a book beforehand, though. Such a good TV show.

I'm a huge fan of C.J. Cherryh and everything she has written. Her style of writing just reads so well for me.
