    Hey Everyone,

After putting new wheels and tires on I noticed my rear passenger tire seemed to have a bit more offset than the other tires. For a few days I thought I was crazy. My wife told me I was crazy. My friends told me I was crazy.

However, during my 1k mile check up on the suspension, my mechanics pointed out that the bed had shifted.....

Attached are a few photos where I tried to replicate the same camera angle on both sides of the truck. In the circled areas you can see where the bed is not flush with the cab and sits further to the driver side.

Is this a common thing? I tried searching it on the forum and couldn't find any helpful info.

    Thanks!

    Connor

What does that have to do with your Hedges?

Loosen the bolts in the bed and bump it back into position as you like and tighten the bed bolts back.

Mines the same way, guess Tacoma’s aren’t really “precision” vehicles

You have a 2005 the OP has a 2009. Things could have shifted over time or a wreck...

It's more common than you may think.

    Lots of posts about this!
Noticed mine with the wider tires also.
Box dead in line with the drivers side and not on the passenger.
Thought I had issues but started looking at trucks in parking lots and on the dealers lot and yep a lot are like this.
I was gonna fix it but the bed bolts were to rusted to screw with.
Looked like moving the front of the box 1/8 to the passengers side would had fixed it.
New frame and it’s better but kinda kicked the opposite way.
I will adjust the box soon to see if I can get it better.
