    Not rail dust.

Wax, compound, not even M303, will remove it as it literally stains the paint, as If it was the paint. But it will fade away. I promise you.

I installed mud flaps and I make sure I don’t “splooge” my tires with shine (water based only!!). I put the shine on with a rag and make sure it’s not dripping and I wait at least 2 hours before driving. Never had a problem since.

At least yours is quicksand and blends in better. Mine is super white! Stood out like a sore thumb.

Thanks for your insight gator. For those curious I did peel the film back a little to see if this was a paint problem from the factory or if it was indeed tire shine. Sure enough it’s tire shine. No stains under there...

Initially thought this thread was a flame thread, however, after continued reading I realized that OP is dead serious.

My recommendation to the OP is to suck it the fuck up and Claybar the truck. I had the same issue but I didn’t whine and cry about it to the dealer and then the internet. I took care of it myself with minimal effort and then proceeded to start chopping my truck up to my liking.

It absolutely blows my mind that someone would actually try to get the dealership to buy back a truck over something so petty.

This is a prime example of the “every child gets a trophy” mentality that exists today.

Cool bro I’ll man up. As discussed clay won’t take it off, but I think you missed that.

I don’t mean to sound like I’m whining about this. I just wish the dealer took accountability.

    What’s your minimal effort?

My minimal effort was alcohol and a rag. Problem solved. The clear piece will never come clean to anyone’s liking. All 6 of my previous Tacoma’s had the same issue.

Just seems extremely snowflaky to ask for a buyback over tire shine.

If the defects will not polish out by dealer,
then it is a warranty issue. If the dealer refuses to correct the problem, then arbitration time. Very simple really.
I don’t know what state you are in, but you have x amount of days to return for full
refund if customer is not satisfied.
Worst comes to worst, get a lawyer and go for all fees, including lawyer.

I swear the complaints around here, get more and more ridiculous. Give the consumer and inch and they will take your first born child!

No. Only metallic paint has clear coat. Search the threads here.

Clay barring doesn’t work. I tried that too. Only thing is to let it fade.

No, not really. When I took delivery, I inspected it with a fine tooth comb, but they had slapped enough tire shit on there to choke a horse. Two days later, my truck had millions of little brown stains on both sides of the truck. I tried every wax, clay bar, alcohol, everything to no avail. So I brainstormed and sprayed degreaser, let sit for about a minute and took my Ryobi 2800 psi washer to it .... wow ... paint came right off in a little 2x2 area but all the spots were still there. After about a week, they were all gone. Like it never happened.

Point is, it’s a legitimate concern especially if you never experienced it. It’s a 30+ thousand dollar truck with no clear coat and out of the blue after delivery, brown spots all over. I think you would be concerned too. Anybody would.

I really wouldn’t. All I see in OP, is some PPF with some spotting and a few miniscule dotting on the rocker panel/undercarriage.

I really would not invest energy worrying about that.

There really are bigger things to worry about.

Well that’s true but, when you pay 30 grand for something and it was perfect when you took it, then all of a sudden .....

I agree it’s not worth worrying about. But it’s still the principle I guess.

My point stands. CC mixed in is NOT a second stage Coat. Does not protect the “base coat”.
