I meant it more for a reference for offset. That’s an 8” rim that mounts -10 off of the center of the rim

From a towing company, I would have cut that shit off, then sued saying they damaged my rims putting the incorrectly sized boot on.

Bigger tires won't help. I have booted tractor trailers. Just need a bigger boot. :D

Parking at my girlfriends apartment complex without a parking pass... Even though I had it in the vehicle...I had to shell out $145 to get the boot off. I am in the middle of disputing the charge with them

    A thing or two...
I'll look him up. If I remember right, you sent me his contact info in our PM thread when I was still shopping for wheels, and he never responded to my email.

What you set the meter to depends on what you're trying to measure. Volts DC, resistance, and continuity are going to be what you'll end up needing most likely. I'd start by pulling any horn fuses and making sure they're not blown. Then unplug the connector from the horn and check for 12 volts at the plug when someone presses the horn. Then work your way back to the horn button. There should be a horn relay, so there's a chance that went bad.

If that ever happened to my truck I would be in jail or there would be a boot cut in half laying in the street.
