We still have one of those.

Saw a book cover one day that read "The Bad Ole Days. Or, What was so good about the Good Ole Days?"

A Coke was a nickel. A pack of unfiltered Camels was about 50 cents and no one questioned a kid walking up the counter to buy them.

4 hot dogs all the way for a dollar!

Going to see a movie with a girl cost you about 5 bucks, drinks and all, which took you a week or two to make doing odd jobs like cutting grass for the neighbors or whatever else you could find.

I was barely a teenager when they starting raising the legal drinking age year by year to 21, and man I was pissed because it meant I had to wait to buy my own beer.

Hell at my age just having all your faculties is a great success. The sixties and seventies are not kind to aging.

Country music was song by country people, todays country is performed by limp wristed city slickers.
