Man tuning this boost controller is not that easy. Figured out how to prevent overboost which is nice. Just had to adjust the gain which dictates how fast to make my EBCS respond. I'm trying to tune everything under 4k rpms at the moment. Too much going on trying to do a pull to redline at the moment. Takes about 70 to 60% duty cycle to hold 12psi. Must not be near the efficiency of this turbo. Still a bit afraid to command a whole bunch of duty cycle and let the computer do adjustments. So right now my boost is bouncing between spring pressure and commanded boost. Slowly getting better.

Another annoying issue, heat soak hot start is back. It's something in the ecu that I don't understand or the hot air pissing off the wire inside the maf sensor.

Are your charge pipes thermal wrapped? That may help.

    Boo, lol.

Looks like I need eliminate the maf. I'll make a no maf fuel map once I iron out this one. If that doesn't work, haltech time. I'm getting close to needing a standalone anyways.

Boosted air temps are cool to see though. They are around 100 to 115 and keep cooling down as I add boost.

You're running the MAP-ECU3, right? It should have come with an air temp sensor to use when you eliminate the MAF. You also need to put a resistor into the stock ECU IAT circuit, so the computer sees something. I think 10k is the value suggested in the MAP-ECU3 documentation.

Yup have a mapecu3. Just put in the resistor and iat last month. Putting some time on the changes first. A software click and new fuel map I can be in maf eliminate mode.

Umm.... Is there one to many holes on the bottom of the rail? I'm guessing the center spot of the three in the center isn't an injector? Otherwise, it looks cool.

As it was explained to me, you could have fuel enter the bottom port and out both ends to a dual inlet bypass regulator.
If you wanted an in-one-end and out-the-other setup, then just plug that port.

Ah....I see. I would just do the "in one end and out the other" which is the standard configuration and eliminate the center feed port as most people wouldn't use/need it. Also, it adds an additional failure point to the system.

I will be using the one in and two out method for my setup. It's a theory I have seen implemented before. More of a "manifold" that helped lower the fuel pulse, and seemed to not starve the cylinder furthest from the supply under high demand. It worked well. No more lean rear cylinders on the race motors back home :notsure:

@MrCrowntown did you say you have a 3" exhaust all the way to the back?

I've been kinda curious what a larger exhaust would sound/perform like now that I've got the turbo.
Currently running stock catted 2.25" piping into a Magnaflow 11225 muffler, then out a 2.5" tip that's all shitted up.
I'm debating on going 3", or just putting a wastegate cutout inline just before the cat. I already have a cat sim I can use, so I'm not overly worried about that.

    Thoughts?
