    Looks nice! I’m planning to doll this one up the same way, once I verify it’s functions properly.

    I’m thinking about picking up one of those harbor freight bench top blast cabinets to see how well they work for cleaning parts.

    Yeah mine didnt look good either. I did the same as Packer...cleaned and polished. Works like a champ!
    It moves freely with no binding or roughness correct? Motor sounds good when moving by hand?

    Me too. It also worked well on @White lightning boosted and @5thGearPinned's 76mm tb's. I wonder who pioneered that amazing discovery? :rolleyes:

    You just need the 76mm adapter from URD. The bolt pattern is different than the stock 65mm.

    Also as stated for best results you have to break off the epoxy from the butterfly adjustment screw then turn it ccw 1 turn. This closes the butterfly slightly to bring the idle airflow more inline with the 4.0 engines requirement vs the 5.7 it was originally calibrated for.

    I hope to get my 2.6 pulley on this coming weekend. Really hope ovtune resurfaces soon. I'm hoping for an update. On occasion, without any consistency, truck seems to go into limp mode when I hit it hard. Gets to about 3k and suffocates. It runs great, just doesnt allow power past 3k. Removing the battery ground resets it but I'd like to know why.

    I also consulted @JuanitoBunito but thought I'd splurge to maximize flow with the shorties. $300 bucks a pop. Probably marginal gain. After seeing the honeycomb compared to stock, I think these are more about higher quality more durable honeycomb material as opposed to a big increase in flow

    Yep, the Tacoma go big or go home mentality got me again. Love the exhaust sound of the setup with shorties and TRD Catback though. I'd love to get long tubes and 3 inch exhaust but my exhaust note is perfect for me right now.

    I’d be cool if I could get a nice burble when I get off the gas or downshift. Been thinking about going to a custom muffler shop and seeing what they recommend. Why can’t I sound like a GTR?
