Did you purchase both the part numbers 9.4101G and 9.4109G for the Energy Suspension Poly Body Mount Bushings and the Poly Radiator Support Bushings?

This did the trick on my truck. The OEM rubber mounts (3rd set) were trashed. No issues installing, took about 15 minutes to do.

I am getting a popping/groaning sound with any directional change. What i mean is when i hit the brakes or gas it from a stop i hear a popping/groaning noise. I have a feeling this is the culprit but is there a way i can check and tell before i order parts and disassemble everything?

Pull the bottom nuts and remove the lower half of the bushings. It was quite obvious on mine that they were shot.

Mine started at only 200 miles. I got it fixed at the dealer at 3k miles. They said they have had 3 brand new trucks with bad body mounts from the factory. They think they are being installed wrong initially.

Same here on my 2018 TRDOR. My passenger side body mount replaced at 900 miles. It was making a popping and creaking noise when going over bumps at slow speed.

Anyone have tips for the orange clip removal? For some reason my drivers side was a PITA, I tried with a few different sized flat heads as shown in the OP but it’s not budging and I didn’t wanna force it..but maybe I need to  Ran out of time to try the passenger side to see if that one was easier.

Haven’t vistied this thread since I did the swap myself almost a year ago. Got the kit off Amazon, can’t remember which one, I do know it was the correct one. My “knock/clunk” did not go away immediately, it was gradual over 6 months so I’m not even sure that my “repair” even was the problem. I still get a light clunk when I get in the truck after it has sat for an hour or two, after that there is now nothing.

This is why I am replying, which I really should have long ago. I did this all myself in the back yard with a 4x4 and a bottle jack, as shown in the DIY instructions. Even though it got the job done, my hood no longer lines up with the front RH fender and headlight, LH is perect, RH not so much. So, be careful, you may tweak your body panels doing your own DIY.

Didn’t see where there was no accident, so was clarifying. Why did you have your husband handle it?

Did anywhere on your invoice list the updated part numbers? I can't find them on online parts catalog.

This thread made me change mine out too. I didn't have any noise yet, but I do a decent amount of off roading so I figured they would be worn, truck is at 3 years and 46k miles. I replaced the front two by the radiator with Energy Suspension #9.4101G and the stock ones were done for, glad I did.

Also, I bought the 6 cab mount bushings from them as well #8.4109G just in case they would fit, but they don't. The shop said my stock ones are looking worn, but don't quite need replacing yet. Energy said they don't know when they would make the 3rd gen ones, but there new parts catalog has a lot of 2016-2018 vehicles in it, so it seems like they might release some soon.
    Here are the stock ones.
