Interesting, I broke my foot years ago, so I can't heal toe like I used to with the huge gap from brake to gas. I like this idea a lot

Update, got the prototype version in. I’m still going to have to make a few tweaks on the design before we can start producing them.

I’m thinking about starting a new thread once the design is finalized

    Forgot to add the photo:

    1CC866B8-6F71-4819-9BAB-7483F074BFD7.jpg

It’s strong, and light. It’ll hold my 220lbs on edge no problem and weighs less than the original version

Outstanding. I didn't see this thread when it was first posted, but now I have and I need two of these spacers in my life ASAP.

Waiting on the (hopefully) final version to get here tomorrow. This is a collab between a friend with a 3d printer and I. Once fitment is good to go and it’s durable, I’m going to start another thread that’s for info, ordering and feedback. I’ll link the new thread in the OP of this thread

It’s been a long road going from a hand cut chunk of aluminum to a 3d printed piece of nylon.

    And finally:

That’s not even 1/2 of the various designs i drew up, many didn’t even see the printer due to high cost. The first 3d printed one would have been almost $80 alone . I cut a lot of excess material while still maintaining a strong and rigid part.

It’s in and looking good, a few more tweaks to go. I’m having issues with the torsional rigidity(not that it really matters) i can stand on it as is with no deformation.
