I had someone offer me a branick strut compressor trade for a Snapon toolbox I was selling. If did enough struts I would have taken it.

That shit is likely standard on 30% of the trailers being towed out there. If you buy a used trailer check the wheel bearings, tires and lights.

I heard all trailer tires are just terrible quality. I’ll make sure to check it out.

Any specific way to check the bearings?

I once chained a strut to a bumper in a salvage yard and used the cordless impact to undo the nut. It launched the parts pretty far, but it saved me money. It's not ever day that you find a set of Koni shocks and struts in the salvage yard.

Pick n' Pull charged more money for complete struts vs. a shock

I'm sure there are good YouTube videos on bearings, but don't take the seller's word that they've recently been repacked. A YouTuber nearly killed someone last year when his car hauler had a hub bearing melt down which caused the wheel to fly off and go through someone's windshield at highway speed.

I remember that it was a maroon jag and that everyone said he should take the video down. I'm sure that was an interesting insurance claim
