Spotted @Rames while driving to ham radio class

That is exactly what we do now. We have had several break in's. During first break in, thief took a big crow bar and hit the front door glass. It shattered and he just walked in and grabbed the register and yanked it off the POS and ran with it. After that we learned a lesson and started to leave the POS cash drawer open and hide the cash drawer(like under the sink or somewhere far away from the POS).
We have something similar with time stamp. Plus employee theft isn't much of an issue. If I don't trust an employee, they are gone! Plus, with all the online tools that are integrated in to POS, even if they delete more than allowed transaction, it sends me an SMS with a copy of that transaction.

What I have learned is that stealing is directly proportional to amount of time allowed lol. After one of the break in's I saw that a guy breaking in to the store and take the register and then waited to see if cops would show up. No one showed up to 30 mins and homeboy came back with a crow bar and some other tools and pulled out the bolted safe and walked away with it. During that process he fucked up lot of other things that could have been prevented if someone would have taken an action with in a certain time frame.

I had a dream last night that my pinion bearing was shot and I was going to regear.... it wasnt that bad of a dream.

 

I dream about regearing every morning driving to work.
