    Thanks!
I did tons of reading on TW lifts etc., pros/cons etc and on ReadyLifts.
    And on the web.
So figured out what was best and most applicable for me.

On my current 2017 TRD OR:
Zero rub even when cranked all the way to turn going up or down an upgrade.

    What I desired:
    Better ride/dampening via the Bilsteins.
A slight lift and wanted to level the truck.
Didn't need a hard core lift package for the kind of driving/use I do, and with that in mind wanted to keep the costs minimal but still good for the truck.

Tires: 265/70/17 Nitto G2 Terra Grapplers
Bilstein 3rd gen 5100 all around, set on 1 up front if I remember correctly, to level truck.
ReadyLift, this particular one fits the Tacoma 2016+ : https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IOYRF6G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I got the Readylift on a Amazon Gold box deal, paid $169.75 I just looked, it's $227 now.

Bought Bilsteins from Headstrong, Marie who is super knowledgeable, super service, got to my house like in 3 days after ordering:
    $339.99

Installed Readylift and Bilsteins at a local off-road shop for $480. He checked the alignment, didn't need one.
I talked to him quite a bit about ReadyLifts and block lifts in general, etc.
He agreed for what I was doing driving wise, it was fine.

Most of my off-roading is beach/sand, some out west in Big Bend National Park on gravel, sand, rock and also took a trip out to Moab. Can't say I did any off-roading that you had to have 4x4 engaged other than sand.
The 'good' thing with the Readylift is that it gives me the same ride I had with the Bilsteins on a 2016 TRD OR I had, not lifted, that hurricane Harvey totaled.
My total lift is 2.50" that I measured from the hub's.
    Truck is level.
I had everything checked at 200 miles, all was good.
I'm 6'-3" so I can still get in my truck without any step etc. ; )

No lift just Bilstiens and Nitto’s.
Much better seat of your pants ride compared to my TRD OR OEM shocks.
If you don’t do a lift do the Bilstein shocks at a minimum.

    Same crap everyone else got
My wheels came today. Had them shipped to my office, so when they got here I opened them up and have been looking at them all day like a kid on xmas morning. Needless to say, my productivity level when way down today after delivery.

I'm looking for some of the silver TRD center caps if anyone has some they aren't using b/c they decided to go in a different direction and they are just taking up space in your garage. Let me know if you wanna unload them before I pull the trigger and just order them online.
    Thanks!

Took off the FN Pro’s dark gray gloss, Nitto G2’s 265/70R17 and slapped on the FN Pro’s bronze and Nitto G2’s 285/70R17....no rubbing with mud flaps so far.

Has anyone put the matte black trd decal on the high gloss gun metal wheels? I just got them and my truck is mgm, I am going to plastidip my emblems, remove the trd decal and replace with a matte black one with mountains and wanted to see what that wheel cap decal would look like on the high gloss if anyone has a pic. Really any pic of the trd decals from importequipment on the high gloss will help, esp on a mgm taco.
    Thanks in advance!
My truck as it sits now.(stage 1) stage 2 will be the 5100's, 885's, and rear aal.
    tires are 265 70 17
Open to suggestion on colors for the trd decal or if I should go with the silver and red trd center caps. Tooooo many options!!!!

I guess the guys at FN are very busy, can’t
get a response on questions. I will keep trying.
You guys using hub centric spacers?
    Can stock lug nuts work.
What backspacing for 285 series tires?
There are two options on backspaces.

I don’t use hub centric spacers on my FN Pro wheels with Nitto G2 285/70R17
I don’t think you can use stock lug nuts, the FN wheels ship with lug nuts, either black or silver.

Nice Truck Lee, Looks good. Thanks for the info. I plan on 2" level lift with Bilstein's 61 series front 51 series rear.

I am thinking BFD rims in 18x9

Not the color combo you asked for but what I was looking at before with the FN black caps and Import red decal. I think these caps would be my choice for your MGM/black wheel combo.

I saved a 714 number for him, which looks like his mobile number? Any idea which is the best number to call? I plan on ordering a set in the next few days.

I have 2 numbers for Dustin:
    714-390-9387
    951-735-1100

He always answered the 951 number the few times I called around 10am Pacific Time, his time.

Texted with Dustin a couple days ago. He said he will have 16x8 and 17x8 wheels in matte black available soon.

Since the 17's were the only ones available for a while, I was anticipating those. but is there any advantage of getting the 16's? I do not plan to lift or change my OR suspension (although plans change and I don't think I'll put these wheels on until I actually need new tires... maybe at the most 6 months from now), so minimizing rubbing issues with the usual tires (265/70/17 was my plan) is important.

Should be receiving my 16x8s next week if Dustin received them today. This is has been the hardest wait in a long time, the anticipation is :annoyed:

On my stock 2016 TRD OR Dbl cab and same for my 2017 QS stock with the FN Pro wheels, 17x8 with Nitto G2's 265/70r17...both vehicles had mud flaps. I had very slight rubbing but only for like 1 sec when turning the wheels completely to make a slow 90 degree turn and only when going up or down and steep incline. No rubbing ever just driving or turning anywhere else. It was rare. I also could not see any wear marks on the front mud flaps...so it's minimal. You could take off the mud flaps and I would assume zero rubbing at all. If I were you I would get the 17's.

Sorry if I missed this in a different post but are these the gloss gunmetal? I have the same truck and am looking at the gloss gunmetal or matte gunmetal and Dustin has the gloss in stock. Thanks

Get the gloss gun metal, they are purty!
Depending on the light they can look almost black.

Like previously mentioned, slight rub on full turn or inclines, only for a second. Love these wheels and tires!!!!
