Got in truck charged with spare battery

I know its cause I have the HD dakars no weight, dont bother me none.

 

Damn that's badass! I never tried League of Legends but that's probably the biggest game out there rn.

I have a good buddy who plays for Faze (a super big gaming org) and playing with him is awesome. Idunno if my shots good enough though, maybe if I practiced enough. CoD pros play 8-10 hours a day and that shit don't fly with school

Trucks should have rake. Especially if you are going to haul anything. Unless you like the Bro Lean.

I mean, flat looks good but I guess what's I'm saying is rake is not wrong. It helps a little too with aerodynamics and mpg's however slight.

I would just hate to have the front lift if I had to tow something heavy or throw a pallet of something in the bed. That shit can kill ya.

I see your point of view it would kill me also potentially someone if your towing heavy with the headlights. But a perfectly level truck does look damn good.
I didnt know rake had that effect on air an milage.

Well, what I mean about lifting the front (even though you make an excellent point about the headlights too) is that when you lift the front of the truck towing you decrease it's ability to navigate. Once you apply the brakes the force and weight of the trailer pushes down on the receiver even more. So you have a lifted front already from just hooking up, then more lift during braking and the result is that the contact pressure of the front tires on the roadway is decreased, and can be to the point that when you turn the wheel in an emergency maneuver you just go straight, into the obstacle, over the cliff, into the ditch, whatever, with your cargo right behind you. It can also cause you to jackknife easier. Naturally these are all worst case scenarios but if you look it up it will be repeated countless times on towing sites. Why a lot of people use Load Leveling devices on their rigs. Most trucks, or SUVs especially don't have an emphasized rake to help them. I have not needed it yet but I have a dog bone bladder I can fill with water and put in the bed of the truck for traction in the snow. It weights like 400 lbs full. I would hate to drive around with that all winter with a flat to begin with truck.

The aerodynamic thing is just physics. Most of us remove the front air dam. It is there to help push air around the truck. Removing it allows it to go under. Creating a wedge with rake will improve the aerodynamic properties, however slight.
