Oh! That’s easy! Put up the “no hoodie zone” sign.

Sorry. I shouldn’t be joking because thieves suck.

It's been about six years since I've had to commute on a freeway during morning commute hours. I had forgotten how stressful it can be, people drive like lunatics.

Why I decided against it. Cost just as much. Driving it on street will suck.
Going fast isnt really an Option for a Crawler.

Hmmm...that might be worth while for the front end. The rear appears to be much more straightforward.

Yup $600 for assembling both 3rd's and installation of front locker isn't bad at all. I chose to take these out myself and I don't think it is too complicated. It is time consuming especially if you are doing it all by yourself like me. I learned few trick while I was doing it and just in case shiet break on a trail, I will be able to fix it.

I like doing all my own stuff too. I know it's done right...hopefully...I use a torque wrench at least. I can fix it myself later if it brakes down in the middle of nowhere like Baja for example last year. It's a shit load cheaper. My truck is 16 years old with 235,000 miles. I don't think I could afford keeping it if I didn't do my own work. It's kinda fun...most of the time...maybe some of the time.

Did you get the 3rd members from ECGS or something like that?

Lunatics are only some of the problem. Many are flat out incompetent, or fucking unconscious.

Yeah man I do the same. I love working on cars. My wife calls it my "therapy" time and she is right. I didn't get the fully assembled 3rd's from ECGS, but I should have. The reason I didn't get the fully assembled diff from them is because I was going to set up the gears myself, but then as usual life got in the way and it didn't happen and I ended up taking the gears to Rearend Specialties. But, ECGS is the best deal in town or even in the country for that matter. They come with 5 yr warranty and no one can beat their prices.

Welp, TepuiFest is a no go. Gout flared up last night. Been in bed all day but it’s only getting worse. Can’t walk. 2x Tickets/spots up for grabs.
