ok great, thanks for that info.

With regards to the round light fog opening, how does one mount the light to the inside of the bumper? is it a 4 bolt application or does it require a bracket?

It has a single adjustable hole on the bottom of the opening.

The bumper comes with an L bracket that attaches to the stock fog light and permits full adjustability. If you use other aftermarket pods, there is a slotted track built into the bumper to accommodate all the standard light pods.

So the instructions I got from the install thread under CBI's vendor forum were pretty good up until the point of bolting the bumper up, also some winch install instructions would be nice. The bolts I need to mount up the winch cover plate came with the wrong size nuts :anonymous: gone have to call CBI tomorrow. Also the winch cable rubs on the winch cover plate before it hits my roller. :annoyed:. It says in the instructions that with the full guard you dont have the clearance to remove the grill, but you definitely can.

Yeah, some of the instructions are pretty sparse, hence why I started this thread. The winch install is pretty simple, not sure about your roller and grill clearance since I only have the short center hoop.

Give Mike or Kenny a call - they're super helpful on the phone. I ask that you post any additional instructions to help with other installs...thanks!

Not from CBI, but yeah, Expedition Essentials just came out with their Propane Quick Bottle Mount (PQBM) which is RAD! However, it will need some modification if you have a setup like mine....I'm debating on installing mine on my trailer since I want to keep my jerry can holders.

Check out their webpage for more info - https://expeditionessentials.com/co...products/propane-quick-bottle-mount-pre-order

Thanks, I have the same setup as you on order with CBI coming in December.

Looks like it just fits to the right of the dual jerry can holder on the left swingout...image_b5d985e3-c07c-41d5-80de-31e9c1364ab3_800x.jpg

I believe Jeff modified his rear swingouts to accommodate the propane mount. Mine doesn’t have 1/2 the space that he has.

Yeah I have the "standard" (I guess) dual swing out from CBI. Mine splits like 60/40 maybe and has different style latches. This set up is really sweet though. If I saw this before I got mine I'd probably ask them to build one like this...

Yes we modified ours from a single swing to a dual, we took the opportunity to create more usable space during the process. By moving the spare over further to the right and Jerry can holder as far to the left. Leaving us room for the propane mount.

This is really nice--first I've seen where I wouldn't mind frying my BSM

I have the same question with a T3 arriving next month (my first mod, after a fellow citizen performed an ill-advised u-turn, kindly removing my front plastic...)

M8000 fits without modification. The control box does come in contact with the metal cross member that supports the headlights and grill though.

And for anyone else wondering - most winches with a side mounted control box will fit the CBI T3 bumper without relocating the control box. Winches with a center or taller control box will needed to be relocated. Relocation is required due to the cross member that supports the headlights and grille

    Unfortunately that’s what I thought.

I remember seeing your question and wondering the same. At some point I forgot and that area of concern and I ended up ordered a set of the skids yesterday. Guess I’ll find out whenever they deliver.
