New Triumph dealer just opened close to where I live/work. Cool right? Called to get a price on an air filter and CR8Ek spark plugs for my Speed Triple. I had to remove the airbox to get to the turn signal wiring the other day so I figured I'd just do these 2 things while the tank was off and airbox was out. They don't stock wither one! WTF? 2 of the most basic item for one of their popular bikes and they don't stock them? Was trying to be cool and give the local dealer some business. No wonder so many people buy shit online now days.

Whelp, got to use the ABS today. Gotta say, I'm glad I got it afterall. I'm usually opposed to tech and like things stripped down, but it saved me from possibly going sideways into a low side or face first into an SUV.

my 690e has abs too. its unique, ive tested it a few times on purpose.

    glad youre alright!

i installed the rottweiler intake and power commander 5 with rottweiler power+ignition tune tonight. first impression is awesome! bike runs smooooth now and power wheelies in 3rd at 45. bike climbs through the revs happily vs chugging a bit before. very happy so far

Thanks. Wasn't even mad at the soccer mom that pulled out in front of me. Even though she was super apologetic. No one got hurt and the only reason we didn't collide was because I was scanning way ahead and noticed her silhouette behind the row of parked cars that was blocked her from seeing me. At the very least, I can tell she got scared enough where I think it'll have somewhat of an impact on her driving even if just for today.

ABS was actually originally designed for aircraft application but was then used for motorcycles first before cars. Definitely a smart technology for a vehicle with two wheels

I didn't have it on my first bike which I think was a good thing so I learned how the bike operates without a handicap, but glad I have it on the FZ (luckily haven't had to use it yet, knock on wood)

My wife thinks I'm a moron when I come sliding into the driveway in a full front wheel crossup with the rear wheel locked up on my motard. But it's fun! LOL
