I would have killed for temps in the 80's here last weeek. Its been in the 90's here in GA since the opening of Archery Season. Its finally cooled off a little in the last couple of days.

Can't say I'm wild about the 19mph "breeze" on Friday, but the temps look good and my butt's gonna be in a tree come sunrise.

Going to start hunting pretty hard starting tomorrow. We’ve had lots of wind and rain which has brought a lot of leaves down. Much cooler temps starting tomorrow with a high of 48 on Friday. Activity should start to pick up.

Between tomorrow and Friday morning we're going to see a 40 degree temp swing here in Michigan. Hopefully the big ones come out to play!!

Welcome! I've been building my own arrows and doing most of my bow work. Slowly amassing the right tools. Haven't tackled strings yet!

Not really, I’ve hunted this farm for 40 years and the deer don’t mind the cows at all. This is a 240 acre farm and the farmer and, or his wife are out here working everyday and the deer seem to be used to the activity. I have 6 stands on this farm and I can see at least 1 house from most of them and I have killed most of my big deer on this farm.

Hunted one of my leases tonight. Seen 12 to 14 does and a shooter buck, they were all in the neighbors alfalfa field about 400 yards away.

They think you're going to drop some feed!

I'm finally getting out tomorrow. Supposed to be rainy in the morning but temps should be mid 40s most of the morning. That's about as good as it gets this early in the season in VA.
