I check https://www.metalsdepot.com when I'm specing and pricing metal for a project. I haven't bought from them yet because I haven't needed enough to make shipping prices worth it versus getting what I need at the hardware store.

KB Voodoo bike mount system showed up today! Unfortunately mising the fork mounts...anyone have experience with their customer service?

They got back to me already. Mounts ship separate. Awesome customer service!

 

I know the previous owner put about 2k on them. Not sure before that. They were never installed on my truck.

I originally asked for 650 bucks, now I'd like 500 bucks.

 

Extended travel or standard? Amount of lift? Any issues?

 

Standard, no issues reported. Originally I had planned to send them to a shop in Colorado to be rebuilt anyway. Truck was sold, so that plan went out the window.

Should get 2.5" of lift. Please keep in mind I had a 2012 model year truck.

 

Barrel aged batch 900 at mad fox brewing co. in Falls Church is fucking amazing. smooth and delicious at only 10.6% ABV!
