So...the other day I mentioned my wife and daughters brought home a rescue kitty from the shelter (2nd one in the last few months). Turns out she had a severe upper respiratory infection that didn't really show until day 2. She stopped eating and drinking. Weighing less than 2 pounds to begin with...this was serious. We've been feeding and hydrating her with a syringe. She's also on 2 different antibiotics. The vet seemed nervous.



Day 6. She's moving around more and eating a bit of solid food on her own. Hoping she continues to improve. She's been too ill to meet our other kitty so far.

She's up to 1.95 pounds

 

Don’t breathe the fumes.

I’m meeting with a second water management expert about the chicken coop tomorrow. Along with solar for its electric, it has rain water collection as it’s source of water. If someone asks me if I want to build them a dog house, I’m not going to take it lightly. Next week I’ll begin the shift into dedicating more time to this project, I’m getting overwhelmed.
