    My parents taking me to the first McDonalds in Detroit to see what all the fuss was about. Cheeseburger, fries, and a Coke less than a buck. There were no seats inside, two walk up windows. They were better than White Castles.

    My mouth tends to get me into trouble with the boss regularly. I remember when one time I came in from the garage. She was upset with me and said she wished I'd talke to her like I do with my buddies. I told her if she'd like to come out in the garage and talk about cars and pu$$y then she was more than welcome. She didn't laugh

    Kinda weird tid-bit but a lot of people who lived in Detroit had roots in the south. Came up the “hillbilly highway “ to work in the auto factories. This was before interstate highways, came up for the war effort, and big money. A lot got drafted or inlisted. This was what my dad did, he was born near Huntsville Alabama.
