I don’t think I’d be able to keep up with your lead foot as I will be pulling a trailer.

You also have a dedicated tow pig. I’m talking about towing a trailer with the taco.

    EDIT:

I found what I needed here:

    https://www.gjhikes.com/2017/03/kokopelli-dewey-bridge-section.html?m=1

    OK Kokopeli experts...

I’m loiking at different maps asking multiple people for help here.

I’m trying to figure out where exactly Rose garden hill is so I can avoid it.

Gaia has it marked where I labeled “RG”

I’ve also been given the GPS coordinates at the circled waypoint as it’s location.

Also, where the hell is Cottonwood Canyon?

Since, as I’m sure you’ve already seen me say, we will be in one rig towing my trailer. I’m going to skip the hard stuff and just go for the view.

It’s only a small tear drop. The taco can tow it at 80 mph, if it’s flat and no head wind haha

where you reference "RG" is cottonwood canyon. it's a tight shelf road down and a steep loose tight climb up with a ledge at the top... with a trailer, may not be the easiest... but a fun option for sure...

    some from cottonwood

rose garden is on the back loop over by the circle... after the trail turns west, RGH is on that stretch...

Awesome. Thanks again for the help Bob.

@cynicalrider assures me that I can go down RGH with the trailer. I don’t want to be the guy sending out an SOS on TW because I did something stupid though.

If I had one more truck to run with (and Winch off of) I’d be up for trying it all.

I’ll probably just take @Wheelspinner ’s advice. Run the trail to TOTW, drop the trailer and run TOTW, go back to 128 down to Onion Creek, finish the rest of the trail.

Just play it safe and do crazy things in a group.

I won't lie, I'm a little disappointed to skip the harder stuff. That's why I built the trailer the way that I did. I could drive down dirt roads with a utility trailer...

If anyone is planning to get in early and wants to hit the Kokopeli, let me know.

I did my trailer the same way, 3500# axle, on 35s, pintle hutch, but I still haven’t really been off-roading WITH the trailer. I guess that’s good as it’s gotten everywhere with me I’ve ever needed to go...but I am curious how wel I built it as far as testing it on an actual trail haha

Yeah I told him to skip cotton wood especially for the ledges when you are coming back outta that bitch. I feel he would be fine on Rose garden since he’s going down hill and has trailer brakes but I honestly have no idea what it’s like to wheel with a trailer.

I still regret not trying to go up Rose garden like @Reh5108 ans @Squeaky Penguin
