That box is actually designed for a trailer tongue!

I love that stupid thing. It has so much room. I used to have a metal crossover box I spent so much time and effort repainting, but it barely fit anything.

 

All good though. When I first got my truck & used to go out to the desert with CT guys, there was this Engage LT truck that started out as a 5 lug. IIRC it used to be slammed originally.

 

technically you have no room to talk. you converted a pre-runner to a 4x4 and dont use it. then got rear lifted and ignored the front.
