Loved that gen! Had a boss who let his wife have it as a DD. He drove his ‘69 Camaro to work most days.

Speaking of Celicas, and impractical. Bought this for my wife back when we didn’t even have a garage to park in. She had to have it, love at first sight...

Yeah here in the valley, every 20 to early 30 something year old is rocking a 6 inch lifted Silverado, on 20''inch wheels, with their windows down bumping nothing but the bass on their sound system, while revving their engine at every red light.
    Compensating much?

Meh, just ignore it. Every generation has that stuff, 20 years ago those same kids would have been sideways hat wearin, baggy pants kids running around in civics with fart cans.

Since we're off topic and it's better that way, this 2000GT says it all.

The new supra turned out disappointing. Plus I read 60+k. Who wouldn't buy a corvette instead?

I’m only 54, that’s too young to buy a new corvette.

Beautiful car, but the wheels are all wrong. The stock ones are so much nicer.

Wow, I just went to Chrysler's website. 3 models. Three!!! I hadn't realized how small their lineup is.

And 2 of them are Pacifica's! One of them being hybrid.

I think he was talking about price. I guess Toyota isn’t competing with the NSX.

TRD Exhaust, Mobtown bolt on sliders and aluminum tailgate reinforcement, Reverse lights changed to yellow turn signals, LED pods added for reverse, ADD W1 oil catch can, Total Chaos bed reinforcement, rear diff breather to taillight mod, 12" combo led bars behind lower grill wired to high beams, Toyota led bed light kit, 400 watt anytime mod, SSO slimeline front bumper.
I still have my 86 in the garage, can't bring myself to sell it. Love driving that car but only get to maybe a few hundred miles a year. Great to feel how "driving" a car feels .

It's less Tacoma and more mod
The GT86 handles great but has an old blender motor under the hood and the Z is just old. Time for a more powerful refresh on both. Hell I own an old Z that isn't even running right now and I wouldn't trade it for a brand new one.

I'd definitely take an old Z over a new Z.

To compete with the NSX, they'd have to meet $150k sticker, and add in individual computers at all four corners to control traction and etc and etc and etc. Honda engineered the ever loving hell outta the NSX. Almost too much tech in them

I'm guessing the whole moral of this thread is: Truck sell gud, car don't.

    We all knew this already.

I had a C7 after they came out. But I sold it right before the warranty ran out. Fun car but I didn’t want to pay out of pocket for any expensive repairs.

One of the reasons you see q tips driving them is because people save money all their life for an expensive sports car like that.

A lot of the Corvette clubs are quite fun and some of them have younger members. They are a highly organized group and do have some cool car shows.
