i know you would lol. they got like 32k miles on them.

 

hey. my fj wheels have that back spacing.. i dont have an rubbing.
but im only running 265/75r16 with about 1.5" of lift..

 

more like 16" are big enough and i want more sidewall. plus 16" would clear for tundra brakes

 

within the next week or so i should know if TRD big brakes from a 2016 will fit our trucks

 

I've had this truck for 14 yrs now. Bought it in 2004 with 30K mi on it. I'm overdue for a new vehicle. I don't want to spend much money in this truck anymore, just keep her maintained & running well. Maybe long travel it if anything. I don't plan on ever selling it.

My next vehicle will be 5th gen T4R.

 

i keep thinking of a 5th gen 4runner... but god damn the prices... and the fact that i already have enough cars and my 01 is my baby..

 

Lol when i read its time for a new vehicle I thought 5th gen t4r too then i saw you said that you wanted one

 

I've been down it a number of times already. That trail is a 4x4 trail but going down the trail from the top is easy. That hill is the scariest part. Took my buddies with Tundras there a couple of weeks ago, they both had poo come out on that hill & were cusing out my name the whole way down.

This is the first time I went down that hill years ago. Wheel up in the air.

 

That reminds me, I need to get rid of my old Pro Comp wheels. The ones posted above.

 

Toyotas are just going to keep getting more expensive. Not to mention they're already at the point where they're vehicles you can't really keep forever. Too much electronically controlled crap in them. At least with 1st gens IMO they are something you can keep for a lifetime & restore. Not with anything these days if you want them still fully functional in 30 yrs plus.

That's insane! Not many in their right mind unless rich would wheel something like that. And when they get old enough to where they might be affordable, way too many electroncs to worry about.

 

A trd offroad 4runner is the last of the simple cars in my opinion, yes way more tech than our old 1st gens.. but theyre not littered with tech everywhere.. i think these 5th gens will be cars you can keep for a long time like the 1st gen tacos

 

I HATE CHANGINE OIL ON THESE.. seriously theres like 15 bolts on the sheetmetal skidplate to take off to reach the canister oil filter. and they take 8.3 qts of oil

 

I don't care what people say about fake beadlocks. I like my Lowes/Home Depot crawler. Well that & I couldn't find any other wheels I liked in 16x8 with 4.0" bs.
