So I know that I’ve seen this somewhere in the 1.5 million pages of this thread, but will ask anyway: I am currently using a laptop to flash my truck that I keep in my house and take out to flash. I now am wanting to keep something in the truck to log for custom updates, flash when lower octane fuel is only available (running 91 octane), etc.... What’s my cheapest best option?

And after the repeal you can use your 4WD more often with severely potholed freeways and no bridges. Should be fun to watch.

If you use S mode you can limit the shifting and ECT mode will raise the shift points. Matt will never be able to fix the poor gear spacing between fourth and fifth and sixth without tearing down the transmission and using a different fifth gear ratio.

Umm... yeah. So the roads and bridges are already in that state. We in Can’taffordia are running 4wd in our daily commute.

It’s not just the gas tax;it’s the big jump in vehicle registration to be repealed. About $580 to register a new Tacoma/yr..

I've been away from TW for several months and don't have the time to read all 1,300+ pages of this thread- I bought and tuned my truck back in April '18 (2017 auto). It is a little jumpy until it warms up. Is there a better version out there now? I still have my dongle but no longer have the computer I used to do the install. Can I use a different computer or was my unique code only good for that computer? Or is there a handheld device I can buy that will solve all of my problems? Although, I only have a macbook so I'll still have some problems.

Try Colorado Springs to Ft. Collins, not just Denver. Generally a shit show of speeding, lane changing, honking, finger flipping low IQ morons seven days a week. Some native but most transplants living the dream. Other than that nothing unusual!

It's tied to your dongle, email the OVTune help desk from the OVTune website and let him know you need the file for 1.04. I'm assuming your on 1.03, 1.04 has a little less tip in, and better fuel economy. Loaded guys like 1.03 better, stock guys like 1.04 better.

I think after the release of the 1.05 we should start a GoFundMe account and buy this guy a vacation or at least some cold beer lol.

The amount of shit the guy puts up with not only on TW but on other social media and the fact that he is still working with us to perfect the tune is really something to be appreciated. Your product alone saved me and many others from trading in my 3rd gen. I am very excited for the new tune but for now just want to say THANK YOU!

Those registration costs are freaking unbelievable. That’s a months car payment!! I don’t understand it tho. It’s not like you can use buses and trains in places like Los Angeles.... or out in the country.

Do you still have to pay that much for an electric vehicle too?
