    Yes. If my rifle is locked to the rack, then I don't put it past someone to steal the whole rack. Then they've got my rifle and a really nice rack.

    If I feel the need to physically lock the rifle to the rack with a key, then it makes sense to me to physically lock the rack to the truck. Otherwise what's the point in having the lock?

    I was actually just looking at the clamp. $225 seems like a good investment to go along with Meso's rack.
