Yeah I googled it, looks like it might be close to Montauk state park, which we've been to for camping/trout fishing. Fun place!

I'd just feel much more comfortable/confident on a dirt bike or 4 wheeler opposed to my truck in terrain luck shown on the website. I'm sure thats the more gnarly terrain, so the easier trails might be fun!

Yeah the trails they show on the site are some of the nasty ones. There are trails there that a stocker will do just fine on.

Shanran71, let me know if you are still interested in letting the ARB go after this weekend.. I might be interested. We have one on a Jeep Grand Cherokee, it's been great. Does your have the capability to add a winch?
Just let me know.. We were just out in CO with our Dbl Cab 4x4 ran some of the jeep trails out there, what a blast..
    Here's a few pics: :D

This is the top of Engineers Pass 12,800ft elev. Pleanty of snow last week. Obviously lots of wranglers out there, but I would say Toyota is easily #2, w lots of Tacomas

This was on the way up. There was very little mud (all rock) but it was 4 low most of the way. The pics do not show the steepness or the size of the rocks you crawl over. No damage to the truck from doing this for a couple of days. I kept hearing the mudflaps grinding on the rocks, and would have to go out and check if I was destroying something..

If you get a chance to travel out there, we were in Lake City, CO it's right on the Alpine Loop, supposed to be the highest of that type road in the U.S. Lot's of fun..

I love Colorado. We take a trip out west at least once a year to go skiing. I'm certainly jealous! Nice pics, looks like you had a blast.

ARB front, All Pro rear, Hella's, Trail Gear sliders - welded on, 3" Sway-A-Way front & rear suspension, front mud flaps -gone.
I had travel complications, so I drive down early Saturday and wheeled all afternoon and then drove back that night .....got home at 1am Very tired.

I took easy and moderate trails and I was very happy with my taco's ability. I did #2 and a few #3 trails (scale of 1 to 5).

The people were great. If you go on IH8MUD.com you can find some teaser photos (my taco is the silver 08 in the background).

Once I figure out how to post photos I will add some of my truck and my mod's. I have some step by step on my weld-on sliders and what I (novice) recommend to coat them with.

Greetings from another Taco owner from St. Louis, MO. I've got 40 miles on the odo and she still smells good. I wouldn't mind taking her down some trails, but I'm afraid I'd cry if she got a scratch.
