morning all. hot all week in the 80 and 90 temps. fall? never seen it.

 

Good morning. Hope this morning finds all my Virginia, Delaware friends safe and dry. Last night's Richmond news reported nearly 500K residents without power in central Va. Checked Rappahannock Power's website and the motel we stay in was affected. My Dad called the owner, he said power just came back on this morning and would call if anything changes before we leave in Sat am. So we are good to go! Onward through the fog!

 

And despite the hellacious amount of exercise yesterday, the big meals, and the big dinner beers (all typically good for sleep enhancement), I still couldn't keep ol' insomnia from occupying my night. Really puts the wrong spin on the day when you start out with...

Good Morning we got good amount of rain yesterday. under a flood watch for the rivers. sunny and cool now! lows in the 40’s all weekend boys will be huntin and i work nites all weekend ! have a good day!

Later on this afternoon I'm headed to Apple Valley for the last big monthly car show of the year . Most of the other shows shutdown at the end of the month and won't start back up until next year in late April


Also looking forward to talking with my Brother this weekend , planning my trip to the islands for either next month or in December!!!

Looks like my box of food for huntin season minus the Vienna Sausages. and what ever you do DONT google what mechanically seperated chicken is or you will never eat viennas, pickled sausages, chicken nuggets again!! wish i never looked it upbut still eat them!

 

The Vande Camps beanee weenees reminds me of Beans and Hot Dog Military C RATS I ate in the Military !!! , that there was good eatins !!

 

What about a case of Military issue MRE's !!!

Ever thought of the preservatives in Spam , shelf life is 5 years !!!!

Funny thing is Spam is a major food staple over on the islands . Go to any grocery store over there and there's practically on isle of shelves dedicated for it

My favorite is Fried Spam and beans for dinner and breakfast, fried spam and eggs !!!!
