Looks like I forgot to order the 3/4" hole punch in time for Amazon Prime to get it to me this weekend. Any other alternatives you guys can think of to punch through the weatherstripping for a nice clean look?

Built the rack, measuresd for square and had a friend help with the hoist.

I don't see why you couldn't build it in place on the roof, but it would be a PITA trying not to scratch any paint.

No issue with paint scratching ,ran some tape down both weather strip panels and laid a thick beach towel down across the roof for assembly.

    a lot
I did built it on top and at night after I figured out I didn't have help. not too fun but it's held well.

Also I didn't replace the weatherstripping. only really tall people would notice.

Had to run some wires for my lights recently.

Anyone else get 6 x black crossbars and 1 x Bare aluminum?

I was expecting all to be black powder coated. I’ll probably just use the bare cross bar for the wind deflector mount.

Right? Haha. I'll be fine as long as I can't see the bare cross bar behind the deflector, otherwise it'll drive me crazy.

All the pictures I've seen recently were black across the board. On to the install!!

^This. Add a light bar and it's concealed even more.

Im defiantly not crazy haha. I did a fair amount of research when the flash sale popped up, and never saw anything but black. Maybe the clear one is a new addition for some reason..
