I read too many horror stories about guys not being able to swap head units from 2012-2015 models to any 2005-2011 models, guys would buy every wire harness and adapter imaginable and still wouldnt get it to work. Supposedly its just easier to get and aftermarket HU.

Do either truck have a factory sub? If so, that's one big problem.

I was hoping for a cheaper option so I bought a factory one off the classifieds. Didn’t want to go crazy with a fancy aftermarket touchscreen. Should have just bought another single din and may just do that if I can’t get it to work.

Its dangerous because the people here dont pay attention when driving.
I know a guy that was riding a grom. Some guy in a Chevy 2500 pulls out of the gas station right in front of him. He hit the truck head first right on the fender and front door.

    BROJAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Its magical as long as you do it responsibly. We would cruise through at about 15-20 but you'd have other jokers doing it at 50. And it's no more safer there. I've seen disgruntled drivers open their doors on riders or move to block lane splitters. They'd get mad that the motorcycle was able to keep moving while they were stuck in traffic not realizing that the law was instituted for air cooled motorcycles so they didnt overheat, there by causing more traffic issues.

Damn now I miss riding in cali.
