Remember when Clint Eastwood, Donald Sutherland, and Telly Savalas stole a bunch of Nazi gold?

One of my favorite early Eastwood works. My dad had an old VHS copy that I wore out as a kid, and now I've got the DVD that gets watched at least once a year and drives my GF crazy.

My dad had a ton of the old WWII movies when I was a kid. I spent a lot of time running around in the woods behind the house fighting the Germans and the Japanese.

As kids we had army men. We had G.I. Joe's with all the accessories.

I had those as well, but I got an M1 Garand popgun and a plastic army helmet for Christmas one year, and from then on I stuffed my lever-action popgun in the closet and gave up fighting the indians, because I was too busy fighting the Nazis and the Japanese. My parents have 100+/- acres of mixed field and forest, so they made pretty good substitutes for WWII Europe & the jungles of the South Pacific in my 8-year-old mind
