So is it an issue with the metallic paint? Not keeping it mixed well during application?

Head painter said something about not letting the paint atomize long enough. Effects how the metallic flakes lay down.

Only added the side steps and mud flaps when I ordered it. Purchased TRD Pro Grill for $100 off ebay just need to install.

I am looking into turning this thing into an MGM on Black beast though. I do mostly highway and maybe 5-10% off roading going to various fishing holes.

What I am looking to do to it is:

    Tint windows
    3" suspension lift
Upgrade to 32-33" tires (All terrain so they still look aggressive but are utilized for what I am actually using the truck for)
New blackout rims (Been looking at some nice Fuel rims) but this is to be decided.

I'm fairly new to the taco world so I need to do my research before doing anything as I want to ensure it is done right in the first place!

You are in the right place my friend... This site is not only addictive, but also makes you spend a lot of money on mods, as you will find lots of many different cool mods to do to your truck..
There is plenty of information on all of the mods you want to do.. but be prepared to :spending:

I spent a long time (~9 months) reviewing and deciding which suspension upgrade to go with. I went with the OME BP-51 Kit (which may be way outside your price range) and got 2.5" all the way around. You can scroll a few pages back and see what that looks like. I love how the OME color looks with my MGM Tacoma. I have 285/70/17 BFG KO2's.

Is that a different sport decal or did you take off the 4x4 or am I just seeing things?

How’s the ride and what are you trying to do next to it? I’m wanting to go this route because I don’t off road a lot and don’t need a lift

The wildpeaks seem to wander more then the OEM Goodyear's did and they are slightly louder but seem great so far. I have less than 100 miles on them so far. Armor and a lift are next.

What's your tire size? And are those 17's?

Reason why I am asking is because my 265/70/17 Wildpeaks on Ray 10's were rubbing before I installed my lift.

Tires are 265/70/17. They rubbed on the front mudflaps before I removed them. There still is some slight rubbing on the bottom of the fender flare but its not bad at all. I'll get in there with a heat gun and exacto knife when I have some time.
