It still starts reliably, I just don't have a 2000rpm idle when it's cold anymore. Soon as it goes into closed loop its nornal. Plus my rig is too fun how it's built right now, I'd try to get to 130 with the speedometer unplugged on that surface. With my gearing that's my theoretical top speed

 

Sand still does damage

What’s a home

 

It's not necessarily stronger per se, since there are several measures for "strength" given lots of different alloys.

It's noted for it's strength, given its weight. It's a lot lighter for a given volume or material. So you can have something that weighs the same, but is a shit ton stronger because you used more material, or the same strength and a lot lighter (less material)

The main thing is that it's more difficult to weld and difficult to machine because it does not conduct heat very well.

 

So similar to aluminum in the weight to strength aspect. Just alot more expensive and harder to accuire

Whats the elevation. I'd just pump the tires up to 55psi and let the boost carry me. Flagstaff taught me that even at 7600ft I can do 105 so if I held it longer I might make it to top out

 

Ti is still stronger by weight than even aluminum.

Other differences: Aluminum doesn't like to by "cycled" which means it's a terrible material for springs, whereas Ti works well in that application. Ti also can be used in medical applications since it doesn't rust. I think it's also something to do with its chemical makeup, but not sure on that...

 

I'm not worried about the speed rating for a short burst going straight

 

Then why do they sell DOT legal tires capable of exceeding 146mph?
