For anyone interested here is a link to imagery of the damage caused by Hurricane Michael. Probably taken yesterday. For those familiar with Panama City, the Cove area has literally 1,000s of downed oak trees and roads are severely blocked off. I would venture that 80-90% percent of the trees in Bay Country were downed in urban areas particularly. Captains Table and Hunts in Saint Andrews were trashed. My brother who lives about 3 miles north of Tyndall got lucky even though he caught the brunt of the storm. He re-roofed his house with a metal roof last year and got by unscathed. Neighbors all lost at least half of their roofs. Crazy thing is that all the downed trees were taken out by North by Northeast winds. Trees are all knocked down to the south.

If I didn't have to be in Cullman tonight and tomorrow night I would be there for sure.

 

I need some advice, I just installed my subwoofers. I put two 10" shallow mount pioneers in there on a 2000 watt amp (they really really bump) but the box with the subwoofers seems to be slightly too big for the back seats to lock into place. The plastic on both the back of the seat and the inner storage has been removed and I'm not sure how to make any more room for them to lock. I am thinking about taking some of the foam out of the back of the seat. The only other option I can think of is to weld the latch to be a little bit longer on the truck

 

Morning! I would weld a slightly longer latch.

 

Only issue is I don't have a welder or know how to weld

Panama City was on the western side of the storm so the winds were blowing from the north/northeast due to the storm’s rotation.

 

B-2 flying over Lafayette, AL this morning.

 

They are lucky that it was. A slight shift west and it would have been worse. Thinking about it a hurricane (Cat 4-5) is like a F 4-5 tornado except the hurricane is 50-60 miles wide.
