That’s why I wouldn’t of posted it personally, however their is no reason to hate on someone just because they bought something different. There are a lot of people in these forums who no longer own a Tacoma or who never have. That’s what makes this a “community”.

I don’t think anyone is hating on him. Just stating their opposing opinion. I’m assuming you are a democrat. Everyone can have an opinion as long as it’s the same as yours.

Yeah, I don't see the "hate".

Mostly comments relating to the subject at hand with some harmless kidding around.

Maybe we should all just sing a round of Kumbaya, drink a glass of warm milk, and have a group hug?

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one. Democrat? Easy snowflake, I’m sorry I offended you. You should know better than to throw a political reference on TW. Easiest way to no longer have an account here.

I can care less what others opinions are. Just sick of seeing everyone getting butthurt when someone says one bad thing about a Tacoma or sells their truck some something completely different. If your best friend had a Tacoma and sold it for a full sized, regardless of the brand, you might give him shit, but you’re not going to run him out of the town.

Lol, there is lots of hate. Even perhaps even more so than someone buying a completely different truck, is the 2nd gen vs 3rd gen

Not sure how you took that as me being offended. There is one person on this thread offended and it’s you. The rest of us are in one of 2 camps. Saying good luck or giving him an elbow to the ribs and pointing out the less than stellar track record of the GMC. Pretty sure OP is trolling anyway and he was successful. Quite a few members checking things out and posting, meanwhile haven’t heard a peep from him.

Maybe.....but hate is a word that is bandied about pretty freely around here (like my first signature), but is not necessarily actual hate......

I am starting to hate this thread though.....lol.

    Unsubbed!

So your girlfriend rolls a Honda, playin' workout tapes by Fonda
But Fonda ain't got a motor in the back of her Honda

That's what comes to mind when everyone keeps throwing around their height.

Haha no hard feelings here at all. I dont get offened at all. I stated my opinions and wanted to be honest. I expected to get some feedback both positive and negative. Its all good we are all truck owners. And for the record..the Tacoma did hold its value very well. Bought it for 37k and got 34k on the trade in. Again the deal made sense and thats ultimately why I did it.

Lol, I’m not offended at all. Perhaps the OP is trolling, but just because he posted this and hasn’t responded doesn’t mean he did it to troll. Maybe he’s out enjoying the new truck, or maybe it’s on the side of the road and he had to press that tow truck button (Onstar).

I’d like to see the feedback on the GMC owners forum. Based on sales numbers sounds like more are coming this way than going that way. Probably rejoicing to get a new brother.

Why the GMC over the Ram Rebel?

Yeah I had the sunroof. I got a pretty good deal when I traded my 17 TRD off-road for my F-150. The deal made sense for me too, I bought for 39k and traded for 35,500 and kept every aftermarket part on it for another 4K worth of stuff. So it was a win win
