Is there anything you wish Toyota had changed about your truck from the factory?

Would ear plugs come standard with the vinyl flooring, or would I have to buy my own? Cause that's going to be one loud interior.

 

The noise could be irritating to some, but coming from a diesel i wouldn't mind a little extra rattle. Im sure you could combat the noise with some good sound deadener or a lining under the vinyl like most ford incorperate

 

I think it would only be a tiny portion of the population that would want that. Fortunately there is lots of good aftermarket options for covering the floors.

You're defiantly right on not everyone wanting vinyl or it would of been at-least an option.

 

I recently figured out that if I turn the drivers side door lock to the right, twice, it unlocks the passenger side door as well. Much quicker than opening the drivers door and pushing the door unlock button.

 

Bed storage compartments sealed from wheel wells. Vinyl floor for certain. More bed payload capacity. Bit more headroom and seat that goes up and down. Rear recovery point. no interior chrome. Frame mounted sliders like ZR2 (or at least an option). Front bed rail. No chrome rear bumper. Rear window defrost.

 

rear view mirror needs to be up higher. just got a mirror riser and now I don't have to duck my head all the time just to drive.

 

They eliminated the bed storage cubbie on the left side of the bed, so no need to seal it, lol.

 

Add the cubbie to my list of things I wish my truck had from the factory...

The 2018 Off Road has the MTS and Crawl Contol there.

Not 100 Percent true, my truck is an Off Road and has the Sunglasses Holder. What you are wanting to say is that Off Road and Pro with Automatics do not have them.

 

If that is the case, I stand corrected . I have the auto and that is what I have there.

 

You need to swap out those map lights to led! Only takes a minute and it seriously lights up the interior at least twice as much. Here is mine partially done.

 

Good point. Radar detector is a legit reason.

The GoPro mount made me laugh when I saw it.

 

Wow, that is a huge difference, looks great!!!

 

The only tricky part is getting the map lights out because there isn't much room for fingers. Put some packing tape around the bulb and yank down, they come right out.

 

I have a 2018 Pro, would love to have:
better headlights (HID's), LED's instead of incandescent everywhere
heated mirrors
a good tonneau cover
Android Auto/Car Play mirroring
A bit better center console
A slightly bigger gas tank!!!

Aside from this, the truck rocks!
