Just about all the wheeling I've done up here, was with one of the clubs. So, only know NEA spots...

    So, yeah, I'm game.

Did I see you in Amherst a couple of days ago? I was at the lights near Subway. That cavalry Blue is sick!

Has anyone had to replace front struts on their truck within 3 years? Just at a shop now to balance my front tires cause I’m getting a good vibe at around 65 (just rotated and was in the rear). They’re recommending new front struts and rear shocks.

No way. Don't do it. I highly doubt you need shocks. How many miles on the truck, and what type of driving do you do? Are you still running the factory Bilsteins? They usually last a long ass time if you just drive on road.

It’s quite possible! I’m all over lately! I’ve seen a couple around also. You’ll know it’s me by the Star Wars rebel symbol tow hitch insert...

Oh I’m not gonna do it. The balancing seemed to take away the vibe nicely. Only 56k on her and still running factory bilsteins. I was gonna do the 5100s anyway soon (nothing to do with this). I’m pretty much 95% roads and 5% dirt roads.

That bumpy section of road we have to drive on doesn't help.

If the vibration moved when you rotated the tires then it's a wheel/ tire issue

Anybody up for trading (or interested) in a set of 2nd gen TRD sport wheels? Ok shape, clear coat blew off and I black plastic dipped them.
Getting ready to put my winter set from the last truck on the 4Runner and has discovered the backspacing is different (taco wheels are positioned closer in then the runner)
Looking for a set of 17” roughly 4.5” backspace (in case someone is trading in their ride and needs stock wheels)

That's my buddy Dave. He is not on the forums but he has had four different tacos. He lives in monson on main street. I got him the TRD bass fishing stickers two years ago. We go offroading all the time

Parked right by me(I was perpendicular behind his truck).
Of course mine doesnt stand out, other than the a all trek sticker on the back window.

Funny, I live right off main st here, and I dont think I've ever seen the truck.
