I like the way they look. I even like the gold "beadlocks". Just FYI RR2 is not made for 4x4s, unless its the RR2-Vs which is ok. For the price, i'm lovin the wheels

 

Yeah mine is a 2wd so im good ... i do love the looks... and im not a fan of “beadlocks” .. my truck will only see mall parking lots haha

 

Ok after about 500 miles the 4.88 are pretty nice. So with the 35" tires and speedo calibrated at 75 I'm about 2100 rpm. plenty of power and 20mpg on freeway at that speed. Went up some elevation and it was good. Still shifted down to 4th trying to keep 75 at steep grade but was able to keep pretty steady pace at 70 in 5th and smooth ride.

 

Awesome truck! What is your set up? What leafs are you running? How much lift did you end up with in the front over stock? Did you do a pinch weld mod? I just go in a new set of 17" wheels from my 16's and want to go up to a 285/75r17 and really like your set up. Again, great looking truck.

 

Thank you. King 2.5 coils up front (I need to crank up a bit more). I think it’s 3” and I’m about half way there now. Dakar leafs in back. I had 285 x 70 x17 on it before the 315’s. Yes did cab chop and pinch weld. Will be all you need to do with the 285’s.. let me know how it turns out. Love seeing the builds here

 

It's not as peppy off the line as my 1998 T100, but it does okay once it gets rolling and the RPMs are up.

 

Gave the vinyl wrap a try...got some bubbles, creases and an experience haha. Mainly doing it because of the sun glare so we’ll see if it works.

 

Finally purchased a 2018 Super White TRD PRO. Will be picking it up later today. Got a good deal on it from Joe Meyers Toyota in Houston. Will be posting some pictures later today.

 

Tufskinz center and door inserts, dash cam hardwired using go pro mount, door sill guards, chrome fog light bezels, and AVS bug shield II and vent visors, and nuff bars. I have the tailgate letter inserts as well but forgot to take a pic. These are the only mods so far. Next up is 265/75/16 BFG radial A/T’s.

Yes. It’s from a company called Beyond Wraps.

 

Just installed my RLMsigns hood wrap and love the way it changes the look of the truck. Plus it was way cheaper than a hood with a scoop that does nothing.
