Oddest thing happened to me yesterday while airing up my tires. I was getting ready to go on a 500 mile road trip so I went to add some air to get a little better gas mileage. I usually run 35 psi but wanted to go up to about 38/39. I left the truck running so I could monitor the psi. The dash showed the rear tire was at 42 so I let some air out. While I was doing that I was monitoring the dash which showed the front driver side psi level going down and the tire I was releasing air from stayed at 42. Drive it for about 3 miles, turned it off, and when I started the truck up again it showed the front tire was around 37 psi and rear tire at 28. What gives?

Did you check it with a fill gauge?

If you’re asking if I’ve chexked it with a tire pressure gauge I have not. Doing that now. I had the tires rotated before my trip and am wondering if that played a part in the misreading.

I found a black overlay kit online for $247. It's a 10-piece overlay kit. Would you recommend this over the Plasti-dip? First TACO and just trying to clean her up and make her look nice. Not into the chrome look on an off-road truck really
