Me and my dad watched M.A.S.H. all the time. And Star Trek: TNG. I always loved Alan alda and his puns :). Those were great times.

I had a pair of K-Swiss classics, circa 1984. They were nice shoes.

"Talkin' 'bout things that nobody cares...wearin' out thing that nobody wears" that would coin me:D OK let me vent some memories-some may be odd. I'm 57 so most of these were in the mid-60s through high-70s in the Village of Itasca, Illinois.
-Our in-ground pool had a filter system I had to crank 100 times one way, 100 times the other, then release the drainer. Sis was in charge of PH. The pool area was fenced with colored Malibu lights all around. Lots of hot dogs and lemonade nights in the summer:)
-We had 2 acres. It took me all day on a Saturday to mow grass on Dad's Reo riding mower. There was also an attachment to the exhaust for spraying DDT at the trees and bushes. We ate salads straight from the veggie garden in the summer. Man was that some good eating.
-No cable TV then, we had a huge antenna on a 20' mast on the roof of our 25' house with a directional rotator. Dad could tune in the Packers playing on Sunday from a station up in Wisconsin.
-Our '67 Buick Electra. I took care of that car myself. Driving us to school, Mom had 360hp and 470lb. ft. torque moving 4400lbs. under her tiny size 5 shoe. Get outta the way!
-Our '72 Ford 500 Ranch Wagon. Fire engine red with dog dish caps and fat Good Year bias plies. Weighed more than the Buick at almost 4700lbs. but had a weak 351 Windsor with I think 190hp. But me and sis had a ball riding in the way-back on those folding side seats.
-We had a water softener that at 12-13, I had to lift 100lb. sacks of rock salt into. I was a strong kid then cause we worked our asses off in those days.
-Dad had a meat shop. I worked there from 11-16 years old every day after school and on Saturdays. Brought my homework there. That's the hard work I'm talking about.
-I had a Schwinn Collegiate 5-speed bike. Burgundy. I actually waxed that thing with Simoniz. It had a radio-remember that one from Radio Shack? Riding down the gravel roads of Itasca in the summer with Admiral Halsey or Killer Queen playing.
Every Sunday after church we'd go to Millie's Pancake House in Addison. This was a regular house converted to a restaurant. Lines around the corner always. 7 syrups.
Matchboxes. Hot Wheels. Corgis. Tonkas. Nylints. Buddy Ls. Dinkys.
I could go on and on but maybe in another post.
