I freely admit I am beer snob of the highest extent. I am with you, craft beer in the states has ruined me. I want and expect nice, fresh IPAs and barrel aged stouts and porters. You'd be hard pressed to find me drinking a Goose IPA stateside, but I'd love one over here. Same with Lagunitas or Sam Adams. I mix up fresh, delicious IPAs in the states so I don't drink the same thing often so drinking Heineken, Stella, Amstel, etc gets old fast.

Random question. My wife has a 2010 highlander hybrid and I just got the oil changed at jiffy lube. The technician told me I should change the rear differential fluid. I told him the car doesn’t have a rear differential as the engine only powers the front wheels and the rear is powered by an electric motor. He told me I was wrong. Needless to say, I only got the oil changed. Am I crazy? I even looked under the car and didn’t see a differential back there.

No, it is 4wd-i which means there’s no mechanical connection between the engine and back wheels. There’s an electric motor back there that will power up the rear wheels for reaction or hard acceleration

 

Also, while I’m typing in here, does anyone live near me? I’m right off Braddock at the beltway in Springfield/Annandale/burke. Moved here recently from Alexandria and was previously in Arlington and dc for years.

 

I live off Columbia pike in falls church/Annandale so that pretty close.

 

I might be keeping the taco too but if they give me a good trade on my taco it might go

 

Doesn’t seem to be any fun bars around here. Me and my buddies go to the legion or kilroys when we’re staying local. Any suggestions?
