What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Nothing, absolutely nothing ... one of the many joys of driving a Toyota.

 

They're both not very strong but the Relentless fits the body better

 

I'm not a fan of tube bumpers they leave too much radiator/condenser exposed to twigs and sticks

 

Oh I’m not a fan of tube bumpers either. I agree with you, they leave too much exposed. That’s why I sprang for the full plated Predator bumper.

 

After a few weeks for sale locally and no offers. I gave away my old Tacoma grill for free today. It's too big and too fragile to ship so free it was. I can't hoard shit it's never been in my nature.

 

None of my radiator or condenser is exposed haha.

I believe Zane has the half plated half tube bumper, from what I’ve seem they’re called Hybrids.

Yup! Now it’s the Extra-Extracab, because I converted it to 4WD for no reason whatsoever.

 

Okay, that looks good. I don’t like the ones that have the radiator and condenser exposed.

 

Has a top plate and front plate too though, neither of which are required on a tube bumper. I just call it ugly

 

Kind of what I meant by hybrid, it has some metal plate and some tube. Some bumpers are just all tubes.

As long as the radiator and condenser aren’t exposed, I like those “hybrid” tube bumpers.

 

Most just have a little kickup for a fairlead and no top plates...

 

The curbs at Panera have claimed many a dog mom Subarus so you'll be better equipped to rescue said dog moms from their high centering adventures.
