Damn Jon.. I'm really sorry to hear about your struggle. I'm sure it has been a very rough time and it wasnt an easy decision to make. This will hopefully end any pain and suffering you were encountering though. you WILL adapt and overcome! best wishes man.

 

Has anyone done the Schnebly Hill Rd from I-17 through to Sedona? Wondering how rough it is/how quickly I could do it?

I am picking someone up at the Schnebly Hill and I17 exit, and need to head straight to Sedona/Broken Arrow. I'm wondering if it's quicker to go back on the highway to Sedona, or just use that road if it's relatively smooth?

 

Last time I was on schnebly it was pretty rough, kinda slow going. Been several years though. You could go fast but it'll beat you up

 

What do you guys do - I've got some TRD Pro Bilsteins that have about 5000 mi on them and look brand new and just finished putting on ADS coilovers on the front. Should I keep the TRD Pro's as spares when the ADS's are do for a rebuild or try and sell them on Craigslist?

 

That road blowwwwssss. Probably worse after all the rain. If you boogie you can go it in probably 45 mins? But that’s moving prettt fast and taking some big hits.

I have a few friends who had their legs chopped off after years of struggling to salvage them, all of them are thankful that it was done, and find quality of life is greater these days. This is for both above the knee and below the knee guys. One of them, my buddy Ben, just because the first amputee police officer in Colorado history, 4th in the nation from what I’m told.

I've been considering selling an H&K VP9 with a few upgrades.

Anyone ever lived at the avion legacy apartments? I just filled out an application for there. I’m expecting to get accepted without issue, but if I do then I get a private garage which is nice.

 

Seems like a usual apartment for the most part in Scottsdale, expensive and a place to live. Looks to be you’re paying for a lot of apartment amenities. If it works for you that awesome and hope you get approved man.

Tired of doing it the hard way. 6 years of it. I see it as a good thing for my future health and life. It's still a mental fuck when I can walk on it now, knowing I'm going to have it cut off.

 

Yea I figured it’s probably more expensive than a solid house being in that area. Worst case I can always dip after a few months if needed. Regardless it’s gonna be fun compared to the shithole I’m in now.

 

North Scottsdale's a really nice area. I'm not to far from the apt. complex.
