I have a TracRac TracOne Universal, with Tacoma mounts. I never did install it, because it won't work with the TriFold cover I bought. The Universal can be cut down to fit a Tacoma, or left original to fit a Tundra, or any other full size truck. This is the kind of thing that you do when you buy a new truck, you get all the goodies then you find out they all won't fit with each other. So, my TracRac grows cobwebs in the garage. What I do use is the roof rack and a hitch mount bed extender that converts to a rack. Together, they can hold my 30' ladder, and any length lumber I need to carry.

Note: I could be persuaded to part with my shiny new TracRac, located in Livermore, Ca. I'm not a dealer, and have never sold anything, but am open to offers on this cobweb catcher.

Yes, and have I got a deal for you! I looked up the current prices, and Amazon has the rack for $375, and the Tacoma clamps for $60. That's $435 plus tax and shipping. I'll sell you my new rack and clamps for $350 plus shipping. So you can figure out the shipping cost, Amazon lists the dimensions and size as: 59 lbs, 67" x 14" x 5". The clamps would fit in a flat rate box, and might fit in some of the end caps to reduce weight on the main box. I think a flat rate box is about $13.

Thanks, I didn't realize they were that pricey. Think I'll try and figure out a way to mount a universal. Thanks again.

This is a universal. The Tacoma specific style is way more expensive. I was going to cut this one down for my Tacoma, but never idid anything with it.

Not pushing this, I don't really need to sell it. A good cheap option for you, if you have a roof rack, is to buy a Lund Hitch Mount Bed Extender. This thing converts to a hitch mount rack, adjustable to the height of your roof rack. Best of both worlds, extend your bed to carry very long lumber, and carry even longer stuff overhead. The Lund is $119 from Amazon.

You're a lucky man, I do. Same price, though. I see Amazon price has dropped a bit, but my price is a deep discount. I'm in Livermore, maybe you can save on shipping too?
